เมื่อ 25 กันยายน 2567 ที่สนามปทุมธานี สเตเดี้ยม เป็นการแข่งขันฟุตบอลชิงแชมป์สโมสรอาเซียน “Shopee Cup” 2024/25 รอบแรก กลุ่ม เอ นัดที่ 2 บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด มีโปรแกรมเปิดบ้านต้อนรับการมาเยือนของ สวายเรียง เอฟซี ทีมจากประเทศกัมพูชา โดยเกมนี้ทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” จัดผู้เล่นนำทัพโดย ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์ เป็นกัปตันทีม พร้อมด้วย ธีรศิลป์ แดงดา กับ รานีล ซานตาน่า เป็นกองหน้าคู่กัน แดนกลาง เซย์ดีน เอ็นดิอาเย จับคู่กับ เฟรดดี้ อัลวาเรซ วิงแบ็คฝั่งซ้ายเป็น สัญชัย นนทศิลา ขวาเป็น วาริส ชูทอง สามประสานเกมรับมี มาร์โค บัลลินี, ชินภัทร์ ลีเอาะ, คริสติยอง โกมิส และสรานนท์ อนุอินทร์ เป็นผู้รักษาประตู
เริ่มเกมครึ่งแรกเพียงแค่นาทีที่ 5 บีจี ปทุมฯ ต้องเปลี่ยนผู้เล่นคนแรกหลัง สัญชัย นนทศิลา มีอาการบาดเจ็บเล่นต่อไม่ไหวต้องส่ง วรินทร จำนงค์วัตร์ ลงมาเล่นแทน นาทีที่ 16 ทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” ได้ทักทายก่อนจากลูกยิงในเขตโทษของ ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์ แต่บอลตรงตัวผู้รักษาประตูสวายเรียง
นาทีที่ 22 บีจี ปทุมฯ ได้ลุ้นอีกครั้งจากลูกยิงนอกเขตโทษของ วรินทร จำนงค์วัตร์ แต่บอลแฉลบแนวรับทีมเยือนออกหลังไป จนในนาทีที่ 31 ทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” มาได้ประตูขึ้นนำจนได้จากจังหวะที่ ชินภัทร์ ลีเอาะ จ่ายบอลให้ รานีล ซานตาน่า หลุดเข้าไปยิงด้วยขวาให้ บีจี ปทุมฯ ขึ้นนำ 1-0
นาทีที่ 38 บีจี ปทุมฯ เกือบได้ประตูที่สองจากจังหวะที่ รานีล ซานตาน่า จ่ายบอลทะลุช่องให้ ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์ วิ่งเข้ามายิงด้วยซ้ายแต่บอลหลุดกรอบออกไปอย่างน่าเสียดาย จากนั้นยังไม่มีประตูเพิ่มจบครึ่งแรก บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด ออกนำ สวายเรียง เอฟซี 1-0
กลับมาเล่นกันต่อในครึ่งหลังนาทีที่ 46 บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด เปลี่ยนผู้เล่นด้วยการส่ง กฤษดา กาแมน กับ ศิวกรณ์ เตียตระกูล ลงเล่นแทน เฟรดดี้ อัลวาเรซ กับ เซย์ดีน เอ็นดิอาเย นาทีที่ 48 เป็นโอกาสลุ้นของทีมเยือนจากจังหวะได้ยิงในเขตโทษของ บุญประจันทร์ บุญครอง แต่บอลไม่ตรงกรอบ
นาทีที่ 50 สวายเรียง ได้ลุ้นอีกครั้งจากการยิงของ คริสเตียน โรเก้ แต่บอลแฉลบแนวรับทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” ออกหลังไป นาทีที่ 58 บีจี ปทุมฯ ได้ลุ้นประตูที่สองจากการยิงในเขตโทษของ รานีล ซานตาน่า แต่ผู้รักษาประตูทีมเยือนยังปัดออกหลังไปได้
จนในนาททีที่ 61 สวายเรียง เอฟซี ทีมเยือนมาได้ประตูตีเสมอ 1-1 จากจังหวะหลุดเข้าไปยิงของ ปาโบล คาร์วัลโญ่ แต่ในนาทีที่ 63 บีจี ปทุมฯ มาได้ประตูขึ้นนำอีกครั้งจากจังหวะที่ ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์ ไหลให้ ธีรศิลป์ แดงดา ยิงเข้าไปให้ทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” ขึ้นนำ 2-1
นาทีที่ 73 บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด เปลี่ยนผู้เล่นเพิ่มอีกหนึ่งคนด้วยการส่ง ชนภัช บัวพันธ์ ลงเล่นแทน คริสติยอง โกมิส ถัดมานาทีที่ 77 บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด เปลี่ยนผู้เล่นโควตาสุดท้ายด้วยการส่ง อิรฟาน ดอเลาะ ลงเล่นแทน ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์
จากนั้นช่วงเวลาที่เหลือไม่มีประตูเพิ่มจบเกม บีจี ปทุม ยูไนเต็ด เปิดบ้านเฉือนชนะ สวายเรียง เอฟซี 2-1 เก็บสามคะแนนแรกในศึก “Shopee Cup” 2024/25 ได้สำเร็จ โดยโปรแกรมนัดต่อไปทัพ “เดอะ แรบบิท” จะกลับมาเล่นในศึกไทยลีก 1 2024/25 ด้วยการออกไปเยือน พีที ประจวบ เอฟซี ในวันเสาร์ที่ 5 ตุลาคม 2567 เวลา 18.00 น. ที่สนามสามอ่าว สเตเดี้ยม

Wednesday, 25 September 2024, Pathum Thani Stadium. BG Pathum United face Svay Rieng FC in matchweek two of the Shopee Cup™ 2024/25 Group A. Head coach Makoto Teguramori continues his trust with Saranon Anuin in goal. Chanapach Buaphan is dropped to the bench and replaced by Marco Ballini in defense alongside Shinnaphat Leeaoh and Christian Gomis. Sanchai Nontasila and Waris Choolthong kept their place as the left and right wingback, respectively. Seydine N’diaye gets his first start of the season in center midfield next to Freddy Alvarez and Chanathip Songkrasin in the number ten position. Raniel Santana and Teerasil Dangda come into the team as a striker partnership.
5th minute substitution for BG Pathum United. Warinthon Jamnongwat in. Sanchai Nontasila out.
In the 22nd minute, Svay Rieng FC cleared away a defensive corner kick but the ball unluckily fell into the path of Warinthon Jamnongwat. The left-back tries his luck from 30 yards outside the box. The ball flew with dangerous intention but was deflected away off target by a sea of Svay Rieng FC players.
BG Pathum United finally broke the deadlock in the 31st minute. Shinnaphat Leeaoh played a looping vertical pass over Svay Rieng FC’s defensive line. Raniel Santana beat the offside trap, went one-on-one with Vireak Dara, and easily placed a shot into the bottom left corner. 1-0 to the boys in blue and white.
In the 38th minute, Raniel Santana drifted in from the right flank and played a neat diagonal ball towards the opposite post. Waris Choolthong draws a handful of defenders away with a disguised run. Chanathip Songkrasin received the ball with only the goalkeeper to beat but missed the target with his sidefooted shot.
Raniel Santana’s goal is the difference-maker at half-time.

In the 48th minute, Pablo forces his way into the box. The ball bounces kindly for Bounphachan Bounkong who shoots from a tight angle but misses from the near post.
Moments later, Svay Rieng FC broke forward again – this time from the left flank. Cristian Roque dribbles inward and fires a low-driven shot that flies inches wide off the far post.
In the 58th minute, Shinnaphat Leeaoh finds Raniel Santana with another perfect vertical pass. Running through down the right channel, Raniel Santana went for a near post finish but was denied by Vireak Dara.

BG Pathum United switched to a more conservative approach as Svay Rieng FC ramped up their offensive plays but the game ended with a 2-1 victory for the Rabbits.
For the next game, BG Pathum United will take on PT Prachuap FC in matchweek 9 of the Thai League 2024/25 season. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 PM kick-off at Sam Ao Stadium.
